The School of Dental Sciences; Income Generating Committee established the UON Dental Plaza in the year 2007 which is located on Ralph Bunche Road off Valley road (Former School of Law).
Dental Plaza Services
The Dental Plaza offers general and specialized (comprehensive) dental care services in:
- Periodontology (Gum treatment):
- Aesthetic and Conservative Dentistry:
- Prosthetic Dentistry
- Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery:
- Orthodontics treatments:
- Public Health, Pediatrics Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry.
- It is envisaged that dental unit will grow to offer the following services
- Oral Radiological Services and
- Implantology dentistry.
- Three dental chairs
- An Amalgamator
- A light care machine
- An Autoclave(sterilizer)
- An X-Ray machine
Treatment of gum diseases including gum surgery.
Offer filling, crown, bridge, root canal treatment.
Deals with fixed and removable dentine (False teeth) crown and bridge work.
The treatment of ailment and trauma on the jaw.
Treatment of mal-positioned teeth by fixed and removal appliance
