COURSE ABSTRACT:
Around the world, leadership is always controversial. It raises questions about use of power, especially by the young. In addition, great leaders - young or old - are usually great communicators who move the world with eloquence for their visions of social justice and harmony. The course explains how communication works in leadership. By examining leadership styles and the atmospheres created by these, it demystifies leadership. To understand the demystification is to see that leadership styles are a result of a choice. Leadership and followership can be cultivated - the young can develop these traits.
