COM 06 : COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING OF FACILITATORS

COURSE ABSTRACT:
Team building releases synergy for more productivity in organisations. Yet, many organisations have realized - to their dismay - that teams do not just bond, and that team productivity is not automatic. To get a productive team, a facilitator is needed to guide productive communication. Without being properly trained on major issues such as communication for goal setting, understanding team life cycles, coaching, and detecting team traps, team leaders can waste time and resources. The course creates a forum for those who might have the opportunity to lead teams to learn the skills. Included in these skills are those of organising activities and facilitating productive communication.
