COURSE ABSTRACT:
There is a growing interest on environmental management and Occupational Health and Safety in Kenya following enactment of the Environmental Management and Coordination Act (EMCA, 1999) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Most of the business enterprises in Kenya which were previously operating without institutional and individual capacity for environmental and occupational health and safety management now need to develop that capacity in order to improve the quality of the working environment and avoid expensive liabilities.
