COM 21: ORGANISATIONAL COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK SKILLS
Duration: 4 DAYS
COST: Kshs. 24,000
Dates:
COURSE ABSTRACT:
Starting with drawing a distinction between the classical, the bureaucratic, and the visionary organisations, the course shows how to organize communication systems suitable for each organisational structure. Many organizations might find the visionary approach of organisations such as Google bordering on excessive informality in communication. Yet, their "homey" approach works. Rethinking how to communicate in the face of inevitable change is crucial. This change that is taking organizations away from the classical and bureaucratic modes of communication is unavoidable. How to build communication systems that accommodate it is the central purpose of organisational communication. In addition, formats of communication including minutes, work sheets, and illustrative graphics are discussed.
