COURSE ABSTRACT:

In clusters of skills needed for success in life, research shows that oral and spoken ones appear among the top three or four. Therefore, it would not be advisable to leave speech writing skills undeveloped.   The course addresses the fear of public speaking that grips many who are charged with this responsibility of speaking or have to write speeches for their superiors. There is not short cut; other than speak skills.   By adequate preparation and use of well tried skills that work, however, public speaking can be made a powerful tool of communication. The results can be amazing - consider well known masters of this, for instance. Some changed history. What got them their success was public speaking. Public speaking is used in every institution. The difference between the successful speech and the unsuccessful one is in the knowledge that there are formulas and skills to use.
